Make a set of trays and dishes to 3D print.
Up to 4 dishes, 10 tray shapes, a colour each.

The Trays & Dishes generator makes small modular plates (round, pill, triangle, parallelogram, trapezoid) that either nest in a stack or sit side by side in pockets on a tray. You pick the shapes, and the set lays itself out. Each dish can have its own colour.

How to design the set
Choose the arrangement
A stack of nesting dishes, or pockets on a tray.
Pick the dishes
1 to 4 dishes and a shape for each.
Set the size
Dish size 60 to 85 mm, height 6 to 60 mm, wall slope 0 to 30 degrees.
Shape the tray
Hug (follows the dishes), stadium, circle, square, triangle, kidney, hexagon, cloud, scallop or ricrac, with a flat, bevelled or pillow edge.
Export and print
Each piece is its own object in the 3MF, ready for its own colour.
What you can change
- Walls
- Wall 1.5 to 2.5 mm, bottom 1.2 to 3 mm.

Questions
How many dishes can a set have?
Up to 4.
Can the dishes sit in a tray?
Yes. Choose pockets, and the tray is built round the dishes in one of 10 outlines.
Can each dish be a different colour?
Yes. Each piece is its own object in the 3MF.
What file do I get?
A 3MF, which keeps each colour as its own object for a multi-colour printer, or an STL. Every file is checked before it downloads: closed (watertight) geometry, a single shell and walls thick enough to print.
Is it free?
The free plan gives 3 designs a month on each generator. Selling the printed pieces needs the Seller or Studio plan, which include the commercial licence.
Licence
On the Free and Maker plans you may print your designs for yourself and as gifts, not for sale. Selling the printed pieces needs the Seller or Studio plan, which include the commercial licence and a licence certificate for each design. Pieces made during the free beta, before paid plans launched, may still be sold on the terms of that time. The exported files themselves can never be resold or redistributed, on any plan.
