Make wine glass name tags to 3D print.
8 fonts, a hook or a rim clip, one tag per guest.

The Glass Name Tags generator turns a guest list into place cards that sit on the glasses: each name is one piece of lettering with a clip for the rim of a wine glass. It can hang down the outside from a round hook, reading upward, or stand up on the rim in a clip. You set the thickness of your glass rim, and every guest on the list gets a tag in the same font.
Examples

How to make glass name tags
Type a name
Letter height 8 to 25 mm. A little tighter spacing helps script letters join into one piece.
Pick a font
Pacifico, Lobster, Great Vibes, Poppins, Bebas, Chewy, Fredoka or Bagel.
Choose how it hangs
A hook: the name hangs down the outside of the glass and reads upward. A rim clip: the name stands up on the rim.
Measure your glass
Set the rim thickness (1 to 6 mm) and how far the clip reaches down (6 to 20 mm).
Paste the guest list
One tag per guest, all in one print file.
What you can change
- Thickness
- 1.6 to 4 mm.
- Lettering
- Letter height 8 to 25 mm, letter spacing -2 to 2 mm.
- Colour
- Each tag is a single piece in one colour: pick a filament to match the table.
Printing tips
Tip.Print one tag and try it on your glasses before the whole list: the rim setting decides how firmly it holds.
For a wedding or a dinner, see Personalised 3D prints in batches; table numbers in the same font complete the table.
Questions
Will the tags fit my glasses?
Measure the thickness of the glass rim and set it (1 to 6 mm); the clip is built to that size.
Can I make a tag for every guest?
Yes. Paste the guest list and every name comes out in one file. A batch holds up to 200 pieces.
Which fonts work best?
Scripts read as a place card; round faces such as Fredoka or Bagel suit a children's party.
What file do I get?
A 3MF, which keeps each colour as its own object for a multi-colour printer, or an STL. Every file is checked before it downloads: closed (watertight) geometry, a single shell and walls thick enough to print.
Is it free?
The free plan gives 3 designs a month on each generator. Selling the printed pieces needs the Seller or Studio plan, which include the commercial licence.
Licence
On the Free and Maker plans you may print your designs for yourself and as gifts, not for sale. Selling the printed pieces needs the Seller or Studio plan, which include the commercial licence and a licence certificate for each design. Pieces made during the free beta, before paid plans launched, may still be sold on the terms of that time. The exported files themselves can never be resold or redistributed, on any plan.
