Make a dog poop bag holder to 3D print.
Sized to your roll, a pull-out slot, the dog's name on it.

The Dog Bag Holders generator makes a holder that clips to a lead and carries a roll of poop bags: a textured tube with a slot down its back that the bags pull out of, a cap that screws on to refill it, a flat ear for the lead's clip, and the dog's name along the side. Rolls are not a standard size, so you measure yours and the tube is built around it.
How to make a dog bag holder
Measure a roll
Its diameter and length from your pack: rolls vary by brand, and a common size is about 30 by 60 mm.
Set the slot
3 to 10 mm wide, down the back of the tube, for pulling the bags out.
Pick a texture
Flutes, ribs, diamond, dots, leaves, twist or plain, on the tube, the cap or both.
Add the dog's name
Engraved into a smooth strip, or raised in its own colour.
Export and print
The tube, the cap and the letters are separate objects in the file.
What you can change
- Texture
- Depth 0.4 to 2 mm, size 2.5 to 12 mm.
- Name
- 6 fonts, letter height 4 to 16 mm.
- Colours
- The tube, the cap and raised letters can each take their own colour.
- Batches
- Paste a list of dogs' names and get one holder each.
Printing tips
Tip.Print one holder and try a roll in it before a batch: check the cap runs on its thread and the bags pull out of the slot.
The 3MF keeps each colour as its own object, so a printer with automatic filament changes (such as a Bambu Lab AMS) prints it in one go. With one colour, print every object in the same filament.
Questions
Will my bag rolls fit?
Measure a roll from your pack and type in its diameter and length; the tube is built around it.
How does it attach to the lead?
The cap has a flat ear with a hole for the lead's clip or a key ring.
Can I refill it?
Yes. The cap screws off and a new roll goes in.
What file do I get?
A 3MF, which keeps each colour as its own object for a multi-colour printer, or an STL. Every file is checked before it downloads: closed (watertight) geometry, a single shell and walls thick enough to print.
Is it free?
The free plan gives 3 designs a month on each generator. Selling the printed pieces needs the Seller or Studio plan, which include the commercial licence.
Licence
On the Free and Maker plans you may print your designs for yourself and as gifts, not for sale. Selling the printed pieces needs the Seller or Studio plan, which include the commercial licence and a licence certificate for each design. Pieces made during the free beta, before paid plans launched, may still be sold on the terms of that time. The exported files themselves can never be resold or redistributed, on any plan.
