The Ink Stamps generator makes a stamp for an ink pad. Your text or logo is mirrored and raised on the face, so it prints the right way round on paper. Faces slide onto one shared handle with a dovetail, so one handle serves a drawer of different stamps. It prints without supports.

How to make an ink stamp

  1. Add the design

Text on one or two lines (letter height 5.5 to 40 mm), a logo SVG, or both.

  2. Pick the face

Rounded rectangle or circle; size fits the design with a margin, or set it yourself.

  3. Set the relief

1.2 to 4 mm; plate 3.5 to 45 mm thick.

  4. Handle

Print a handle with the face, or only the face to fit a handle you already have.

  5. Export and print

Download 3MF or STL; the stamp prints without supports.

Where it is used

  • A shop's logo on bags, boxes and receipts.
  • Teachers' stamps: "Well done", "Checked".
  • Office stamps: "Approved", "Paid", a return address.

Questions

Do I need to mirror the text?

No. The studio mirrors the design for you.

Can several stamps share a handle?

Yes. Each face has a dovetail back that slides onto the same handle.

Which ink works?

An ordinary ink pad. Wipe the face clean after use.

What file do I get?

A 3MF, which keeps each colour as its own object for a multi-colour printer, or an STL. Every file is checked before it downloads: closed (watertight) geometry, a single shell and walls thick enough to print.

Is it free?

The free plan gives 3 designs a month on each generator. Selling the printed pieces needs the Seller or Studio plan, which include the commercial licence.

Licence

On the Free and Maker plans you may print your designs for yourself and as gifts, not for sale. Selling the printed pieces needs the Seller or Studio plan, which include the commercial licence and a licence certificate for each design. Pieces made during the free beta, before paid plans launched, may still be sold on the terms of that time. The exported files themselves can never be resold or redistributed, on any plan.
